Geoff SWINFIELD
Geoff Swinfield has been a professional researcher for more than 25 years. Since 1999, he has run his own genealogical company, Geoff Swinfield Genealogical Services.
In 2006, his book Smart Family History, which looks at ways to make a breakthrough in your genealogical research, was published by The National Archives.
He has a Ph.D. in genetics and has used this training to apply genealogical research to the study of families at risk from genetic diseases. He lectures on DNA Tests for Family Historians and is leading a joint research project between Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Society and Genealogists into a hereditary form of glaucoma.
