Following a brief foray into the shady world of the City after completing her degree in Ancient History and Archaeology, Cat read for a Masters degree in Cultural Heritage Studies at University College, London. English Heritage has been her home ever since, where she has undertaken a few different roles in the arena of Heritage Data Management at the National Monuments Record, based in Swindon.
Since mid 2005, she has been responsible for managing the Heritage Gateway web project. Cat delights in relating her website-development experiences, both good and bad, and introducing new audiences to the site.
