Not so rum after all
This will be a pictorial talk of shipboard life in the Georgian Navy with some comparisons to the land. It will also explain with some basic technical details how the ships were manned, worked and fought in action. It is also hoped to dispel some myths along the way. This talk is ideal for anyone who is beginning to research ancestors who served in the 18th and early 19th century Royal Navy and requires a basic understanding of the service.
