James PATTERSON

James Patterson is Director of the Media Archive for Central England, the public moving image archive for the East and West Midlands.
One of the UK’s senior film archivists, James worked at the BFI National Archive for 21 years, the last 10 as Keeper of Documentary Film, before leaving the BFI to establish MACE in 2000.
James is also an Honorary Fellow of the University of Leicester where he teaches modules on film archiving and on film and history.
