Brian DONOVAN
Eneclann
Brian is CEO and a founder member of Eneclann, the Dublin-based Irish family history company.  He specialises in the company’s digitisation work, including managing a team of archivists to index over 70,000 testamentary records at the National Archives of Ireland, imaging and indexing over 1.4 million records from Griffith’s Primary Valuation, and imaging over 250,000 pages from rare books at Trinity College Dublin Library.  Brian oversees the development of Eneclann's extensive CD-ROM and online catalogue and is currently the technical advisor for the landmark Trinity College project to digitize the 1641 Depositions. He graduated from Trinity College with a degree in History in 1989, and subsequently lectured and tutored there. Brian’s publications include British Sources for Irish History 1485-1641 (Irish Manuscripts Commission 1997) which he authored along with David Edwards.
