Darris Williams began tracing his family history in 1983 while stationed at RAF Alconbury, near Huntingdon. After finishing with Uncle Sam he studied at Brigham Young University obtaining a degree in Family and Community History. He was hired by the Family History Library in Salt Lake City in 1991 as a British Reference Consultant. From 2004 to 2008 he worked on the FamilySearch Research Wiki and now works as a “Collection Management Specialist” where decisions are made related to records that should be acquired and the indexing and digital publication of those records.
